Official rules · Rage Room

Before you smash it all,
read it all

Safety first. Smashing things, second. These are the eight ground rules of Break&Joy's Rage Room.

  • Full gear on at all times

Helmet, gloves, face shield and overalls. No full gear, no entry — and definitely no smashing.

  • No throwing at people

Do not throw objects at other participants or outside the designated area. What gets broken stays inside.

  • One tool at a time

Use a single tool to smash. Don't mix hammers, bats and poles in the same swing.

  • If it won't break, leave it

If something's refusing to budge, walk away. Karma will handle it — and our walls are grateful.

  • Tell us if something comes loose or breaks oddly

If a piece falls off or something breaks in an unexpected way, let us know. Better safe than sorry — bones and walls don't mend themselves.

  • Keep your helmet and gear on

No removing it for selfies, to shout or for anything else. Gear stays on until you're out of the room.

  • Minimum age: 16

Under-16s must be accompanied and bring written authorisation from a parent or legal guardian.

  • Closed-toe shoes are mandatory

No sandals, heels or crocs. Your feet will thank you.

Safety first. Smashing things, second.

Official rules · Splatter Room

Before you splash it all,
read it all

The Splatter Room is a blast — but it has rules. Here are the paint and safety guidelines we follow every session.

  • Overalls and gloves on at all times

We give you a protective overall and gloves when you come in. They stay on for the whole session — paint flies further than you'd think. Goggles are optional; just ask.

  • Never aim at faces

Brushes, syringes, balloons and bottles are aimed at the canvas only. The paint is washable, but it stings in the eyes — a lot.

  • Don't eat or drink the paint

We use water-based acrylic and tempera paint — non-toxic but not for consumption. If it gets in your mouth or eyes, rinse with water and let us know.

  • Closed-toe shoes are recommended

We recommend trainers or closed-toe shoes that can get dirty. If you come in sandals, expect paint on your feet.

  • Watch out for wet floors

The floor fills up with drips and can get slippery. Move calmly — no running or jumping in the room.

  • Let us know about allergies or pregnancy

If you have an allergy to any component, respiratory issues or are pregnant, tell us when booking. We'll adapt materials or recommend another experience.

  • Minimum age: 4

Under-14s must always be accompanied by an adult inside the room. Under-16s need written authorisation from a parent or legal guardian.

  • Tell us if something spills outside

If a tray tips over or anything goes beyond the intended area, let us know. The sooner we clean it, the better — and nobody slips.

Have fun — and go home in one piece.

We'll run you through everything on arrival. Questions before your session? Message us on WhatsApp.
